The prison system deprives and marginalises, but resignation does not prevail. The final episode of the series dives into the heart of resistance: relatives transform their feelings of powerlessness into action, provide support, and demand justice to build a system respectful of human rights. They share how they seek possible alternatives to the violence of incarceration.
This six-episode docuseries was produced, in collaboration with Acifad (Argentina), Amparar (Brazil), Relais Famille (Canada), OIP-SF (France), Documenta (Mexico) and POPS (United Kingdom), as part of the Connecting Stories Beyond Bars. project.
